It's just a sense

Ever since I started toying with the prospect of leaving the west coast for a while, I've been obsessed with making sure I take full advantage of what's at my doorstep. I had to go to Oakland to run errands today, so I thought I'd make a morning of it by exploring College Ave and Jack London Square. 

It was quiet--as most people were probably getting in their last hours of work before the holiday weekend--but it made for a nice morning stroll going in and out of the different shops along College Ave, and reading by the Oakland harbor.
& I think I'm starting to pick up on and appreciate the charm of this place
