Pretty sure everyone in SF knows about the deliciousness of a "Strawberry Fields" from The Tipsy Pig. My brother and I took in some marina sun on their back porch, and downed a few. It's like you're just eating vodka/soda water infused fresh strawberries. 
A few nights later, I was there again, and I tried to follow the bartender's fast hands, but just ended up asking him for the recipe. I didn't expect a real answer--a smart alec response at best--and I thought I could probably replicate it, but he told us! (A few strawberries at bottom, ice, a puree of fresh strawberries and flavored syrup, vodka, soda water) & now I will have it on tap all summer long.
